General rule
Unused, unopened, and uninstalled stock parts may be reviewed for return. Approval depends on part condition, packaging, timing, and whether the part can be resold safely.
Returns must include the original packaging, labels, receipt or order details, and a clear explanation of why the item is being returned. A return is not approved until 1 Hour Parts confirms it in writing or by direct communication.
Electrical parts
Electrical parts, boards, capacitors, contactors, relays, switches, motors, and controls are usually not returnable after installation, wiring, testing, or energizing.
These parts can be damaged by incorrect diagnosis, wrong voltage, miswiring, shorted equipment, moisture, or failed connected components. For that reason, we strongly recommend confirming ratings, terminals, photos, and model numbers before dispatch.
Refrigerant and regulated items
Refrigerant, sealed-system parts, and regulated items may be final sale or limited by law, safety, certification, and supplier rules.
Some refrigerant products may only be sold to certified buyers or handled by qualified technicians. If certification, documentation, or technician confirmation is required, the order may be paused until those details are provided.
Special orders
Special-order, emergency-sourced, and non-stock items may be non-refundable once confirmed or dispatched.
Special-order items are sourced for a specific customer request and may not be returnable to the supplier. We will tell you when an item appears to be special order, non-stock, or final sale.
Delivery fees
Delivery fees cover dispatch time and travel and may not be refundable once a driver is dispatched.
If the address is wrong, the customer is unavailable, access is blocked, or the delivery is refused after dispatch, additional delivery or restocking charges may apply.
Compatibility responsibility
We help review labels and specs when supplied, but the buyer or technician is responsible for confirming the part is correct before installation.
